Superior Quality Since 1923
In 1923 the Pawtucket Mill Supply Company was founded by the Cranshaw family. The business was sold in 2013 to Kenneth Durn. Ken brought with him a history of over 40 years of experience in the textile design, engineering and factory management. He decided to take the company into different directions using his knowledge to form a strong customer base by working with the customers and listening to their ideas and concerns. To supply new needle loom parts which are equal or better in quality to the OEM parts and at very competitive prices has been his goal. A strong working partnership with our suppliers has been formed and they are open to any suggestions that we may have to improve our products.
After looking at our used loom market and then deciding that if were we to compete in this area a change in our prior policy was necessary. Moving away from the AS IS loom, we decided to start a complete rebuild program. Having an excellent first class technician who has taken this project upon himself and has made it very successful. Each loom is stripped, cleaned, sanded and repainted prior to rebuilding. The loom is left in its shell configuration until the customer submits their specifications for the loom. The loom is then rebuilt with the customer’s specs replacing any worn parts with new parts. Most of our rebuilt looms have a minimum of 80% new parts. All rebuilt looms carry a three month warranty.
We also supply new needle looms which are equal in quality and performance to the European looms and at a very competitive price. All new looms carry a twelve month warranty. We can also supply support equipment such as finishing machines, warping machines, blockers, etc.
As with any company, its customers are its best assets. Our goal is to treat each customer with respect and offer advice to help them make the best decisions. Listening to what you, the customer, has to say is critical for us to move forward in the industry, we strive to improve.
